Stop Motion Animation

Stop Motion Animation

Stop motion animation is an animation that appears to move on its own. I have move it little by little then took a picture of it until its have enough frames. Fristly I start taking pictures of the coins together. Then I start separating the coins one by one and its going towards the red bag because the coins are going in to the red bag.

To do this I used photoshop. Everything was frames so I used photoshop to put the frames together and I have to cut some frames because the frames was long.

Animation exercises

Storyboard

Character

For this animation, I've used Photoshop and and one layer frame to do this animation. I also used timeline to make the animation move. The character in car starts from right side of the screen and travels to the left side. Then turns, facing up side down and drives off to the right. Then turns, again drives off to the right.

Animation Challenge

This is animation. I used Photoshop and seventeen different layers to do this animation. Also I added blue colour for the background.

Firstly I started drawing the face and i used five layers to make the face turning back. To make it extra londer i used seventeen layers and i just cope them and pasting them in to the frame. Also this makes face turning back and forward again.

Animating a figure in Photoshop

We were given the assets to animate this figure. There were two figures, one had the legs togther and one legs apart. An improvement might have been for the figure to have been drawn in more positions.
First I keyframed the opacity on the timeline. So for every frame I switched the opacity from 100% to 0% and from 0% to 100%. This makes the figure look like it is moving the legs and arms.
To move the figure across the frame I keyframed the Transform element of the timeline. I moved the current time indicator and the keyframes are automically set up.

Above is my animation and the figure is running from side to side. I had to edit and flip when the figure reached the right hand side. This looks like it is turned around and come back.
The above is an animated gif of the second animation.

I didn't hold the interpolation on the opacity and that is why it looks like the figure is a little transparent.
I will practice and hold the interpolation on the next example and see if the movement and effect is more realistic.
